A welcome message was sent to your inbox.  If you did not receive it, you may need to “white-list” newsletter@dothemath.ucsd.edu in your mail client to make sure these get through (not marked/deleted as SPAM).  If a post comes out and you didn’t get an e-mail later that day, it’s problematic, which may very well be a problem on the DtM side (please be patient: some wrinkles need to be sorted out before DtM is “legitimized” as a valid e-mail sender).
